The main material for preparing hollow capsules is gelatin. The pigment component of the capsule shell is food coloring, including carmine, amaranth, lemon yellow, olive green, etc., with very low toxicity. When gelatin is made into glue, a small amount of additives such as food coloring, plasticizer, preservative, and penetrating agent can be added. The preparation process of hollow capsules can be roughly divided into six processes: sol, dipping, drying, shell extraction, cutting and finishing, which are now all completed by automated production lines.
